NCAA National Study on Collegiate Wagering

To better understand how to maintain the integrity of NCAA competitions and protect the health and well-being of student-athletes in the face of increased sports wagering legalization, the NCAA engages in research related to gambling and sports wagering. Among the research studies conducted are large-scale national surveys of student-athlete gambling attitudes and behaviors that have been undertaken regularly since 2004. See the links on this page to review the results of previous student-athlete surveys as well as data from recent studies on wagering education efforts at NCAA schools and sports wagering behaviors of young adults who are not NCAA athletes.
